Meet Miss Mae
I'm from Pierre Part, Louisiana, deep in the Atchafalaya Basin. My daddy fished catfish for a living. For forty years I ran our family bait shop and the boat landing behind it.
I watched thousands of folks fish from my dock. A lot of them were retired, and a lot of them told me, “I sold my boat. I guess my fishing days are over.”
